Hi, I'm Ellen (she/they)
I'm a queer depth psychotherapist, supervisor, author, and speaker based in Colorado. I work with adults who are ready to go beneath the surface of what they are experiencing and find what actually needs tending.
From a grounded, rooted place, healing is inevitable
As I have partnered with clients in their healing and growth, three central themes emerge: gender authenticity, healing in and with nature, and soulful reflection on what spirituality means to them.
I believe that understanding who we are, truly, is one of the most healing things a person can do. I have seen people rebuild their entire relationship to spirituality inside the therapy room, letting go of what no longer fits and finding what does. And I have watched clients come back to themselves in nature, remembering that they were never separate from it to begin with.
No matter what brings someone to therapy, we often find ourselves arriving at the same places: identity, spirituality, and our relationship with the living world. Those are the places where I believe deep healing begins.
